Bank of America is gearing up to hire 300 new employees in Rio Rancho to support services provided by a new type of automatic teller machine that allows customers to interact with a bank representative via video.
Work already is underway to remodel an existing Bank of America call center near U.S. 550 to accommodate employees who will staff the new operation, said Michael Rodriguez, who heads up Bank of America’s operations in New Mexico.
“I am excited about it – 300 new jobs is obviously excellent news for Rio Rancho,” said Rio Rancho Mayor Gregg Hull.
